Great last try. Saints fully derserved win. Still don't see this knocking of griffin. He was OK IMO others played worse but I guess we need a scrapegoat. Hope thats not Kelly season over although he was limping around at the end so hopefully just a pull. Don't think I've seen fc drop the ball on the first 2 tackled like that before. Got to dust ourselves down and get a result against Leeds.

It would be interesting to know what the game plan was tonight as I didn't see one. Interesting how in the BBC forum after the Castleford cup win how they mentioned when the weather got wet the one up tactics using the backs and forwards would tire a team out a lot less and so it showed tonight. Defence around the ruck was pretty gash as well

Top 4 before the Super8's gives you 4 home games instead of 3 - oh, hang on a minute, home advantage is meaningless in professional sport. It also gives me an extra home game to watch, but I guess that's irrelevant as well.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

The props are playing some dumb rugby and Mini is coughing up a lot of ball. All Sneyds fault though.
I would have to see Saints last try again but looks like he dropped the ball to me.
The problem is with Sneyd is he doesnt engage the defence and plays safe catch and pass. The defence is then able to get up to the ball receiver which tonight was Tuimavave who took the hits. There is no doubt we look much slicker in attack with Kelly/Connor at half back but thats not going to happen now with Kellys injury
Poor tonight. Looking like 5th at the split unless we win both the next two or Saints win at Wakefield in round 23. Fifth wouldn't be a disaster but our away form seems to have gone so it'll be tough to make the play-offs especially with the Cup a distraction.
Looks like as usual the same posters have their scapegoats ignoring the fact that some fans favourites were poor as well.

Terrible from the off. you could see from the first couple of sets that we were going to get out enthused yet again. Maybe it's a bit of a hangover from last week but we look incapable of stringing together 2 or 3 big games which looks likely to mean we won't do anything much. Really massive blow to lose kelly who won't be for for the semi now (4-6 weeks for a hamstring).
saints really are awful and yet they've taken 4 points from us this year. Add in 4 to les cats, 2 to leigh and 1 to wire and it makes it very unlikely we'll make the top 4 at seasons end IMO.
We're also struggling from a lack of depth in the forwards meaning players are on the field for too long and making errors due to fatigue.
radford has been pretty good with his interchanges this year but he should have brought watts and bowden back on at around 70 minutes which may have seen us sneak it.
All in though, we were gash with the ball all night
