I'd imagine Hudgell and Crossland will be doing their usual blokey thing of expressing disappointment in solidarity with the fans (and the deflection opportunity that Boudebza's case has created is useful in this context), but disregarding the inconvenient truth that
they've created it through selecting Sandercock, Chester and Poching as their leadership team, dismantling the academy and doing stuff like paying a fee to re-sign Cockayne. Clearly they've done loads for the club, including bankrolling losses of £4m, but the fact their judgement in things like Masongate is entirely protected from negative comment is a bit weird IMO.
