Hmm..
He is correct though.Powell lost a lot of players from last season but has still been able to produce a team challenging for a top four position unlike our own super coach.

My thoughts are that a coach can get a team up for a year through motivation and the opposition underestimating them but for Powell to repeat that in his 2nd year despite losing some good players suggest that he is a quality coach.
On that basis I wish Crooks all the best and hope that he can reignite his career. The kid has got some silky skills.
If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

I'd certainly expect Taylor to. Watts has always had the talent (called up to an England Training squad as long ago as 2011), it has always been more an issue of consistency. If he sorts that out, he'll be one of the best in SL.

Watts has had a good season and is looking the part now.
Come on well under Radford which was the original point to Des the troll.

When he was with us his problems were off the pitch,he seems to have sorted them out unlike westerman, and its showing on the pitch.Shaul and crooks seemed to do well under radford, while yeaman is excelling under him

If anyone can build the kid it's Powell. I think Radford ruined him and just put him in games when he felt like it or shoved him in the Donny games. I think he's a talented kid needs confidence not be put down. Good luck to him I bet he will be laughing at Radford in a few years. Probably the same with the other kids too. they need more game time not just the odd one. How do you build a team of young players if you don't play them?

If we'd signed a centre unable to break out from aussie 3rd grade there'd be uproar on here. I'm sure the god who is Powell will fix up all his shortcomings just prior to taking up a lucrative top job in the NRL will be interesting to see how it pans out.
