Goes to show how much influence a coach can really have. Grix has improved effort and attitude across the team, whilst Smith probably decreased it from the season before.
Massive credit to Myler, too. Managing the poop sandwich of a situation pretty well since taking over, bringing in astute signings and loanees which have improved us.
We just beat the league leaders and World Club Champions with only 3 quota players, 7 academy players including at 1, 7 and 9, and with shirt number 50 on the pitch!

Maybe, just maybe people are just happy and enjoying the win and performance.
They maybe don't feel the need to vent their frustration or analyise the performance this week unlike some who like to come on here, have cheap digs and boast about how much beer they can drink and what super fans they are
I thought for 70 minutes or so we were outstanding and Wigan uncharacteristically were poor in parts coughing up cheap ball. The performance yesterday was everything as fans we've been crying out for, win lose or draw and for me Grix deserves a lot of praise.

Grix is getting out of the players what any half decent coach should have been getting all along. Credit to him for getting us back on an even keel from such a poor position but God knows what was going on in smiths head to let it get into the state it had

, Maybe it was just a 'perfect storm?' I blame Tarquins barometer for not forecasting it earlier. That, and Radders, obviously.

Speaking of radders, did anyone see the video of him on twitter with a rovers shirt on under a Hull FC coat? Made me laugh. Are his lads still with us? Can't see any mention of them on the website
