Saints are a fantastic side. Bigger, quicker, more skilful than the rest with just 2 losses going into July. Tonight we were poor - discipline and impatience cost us early and the game was gone. Good to see us not chuck the towel in and get a couple of late tries.
God we were awful. Look at the speed they attack with, or run on to the ball. We look so laboured. Ref was awful, but we were worse. Can I just ask what rule book the referee was using as he let saints have a free play twice!
It's for the most part exactly what most people expected I imagine. Saints are the best side in the league by a distance currently, we all know we are nowhere near this year. The second row is largely ineffective but there is a squad overhaul going on that looks promising. I'm not sure you can whinge about not winning a grand final when surely nobody has any illusions we were going to this year?
For what it's worth I do think we are capable of a better performance than that. Didn't exactly get the rub of the green or bounce of the ball either. (Not that effected the result before anyone starts)

Great summary, especially re the back row. Seems like we' ll be trading up next year.

They could have top spot sewn up in a couple of weeks so they'll not be bothered about resting playings and potentially losing in the last few rounds. They'll be full strength at Wembley.
