Spot on.
Kelly played himself to a standstill and they played on that towards the end.
What we need is a physio as fit as theirs (he must cover some km`s during a game) and to find out what drink he is pouring down their necks as they were running with as much energy at the end of the game as they were at the beginning.

Losing Connor & Sneyd and with Kelly strapped up though is difficult enough but also if Faraimo gets a ban we are missing 1, 2, 4, and 5 with 3 (Carlos) playing busted. Wakefield are scrapping for the 8s with home advantage so just can't see anything but a heavy defeat. This isn't being negative just realistic - it's great that we're safe and that's a praiseworthy achievement itself given the context.
The potential of this side is strong. In the backs we have Griffin who was exceptional until injury, Connor with an international breakthrough, Carlos all class and playing with a knock, Talanoa top SL try scorer until injury and Faraimo who's settling great in now but just needs to sort his discipline, MoS nominee Albert Kelly and double Lance Todd winner Marc Sneyd. We have a very good squad but just can't them on the pitch.
Hmmm, this flies right in the face of you continually dismissing/writing the team off as early as 20 minutes into a match and continually stinking the place out with your 'season over' comments and M8s thread. So you write the players effort off in game, you write off the team in game, you write the team off for the season and yet you say "Not in any way dismissing what this team have achieved", somewhat hypocritical isn't it?
Why can't you get behind the players/team/coach when it counts on game day, why continually write them off pretty much ignoring the effort and how matches and a season have peaks and troughs. you come back and write what you have with no sense of irony whatsoever So, is our season still over or do you think our season still has a way to go, you know seeing as we are still in with a chance of making the play-offs????
I don't think we have a cat in hell's chance of making the GF, but it doesn't stop me supporting the team, going to matches, leaving at the end of games (not with 15 minutes to go like many last night).
It's called being realistic, but stick to your agenda bumpy, it's all you ever do.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

FFS give it a rest with the Mrs B bashing. Why you are still allowed to post on here after numerous warnings, God knows.

Just give up FFS.

It really is getting embarrassing how many people leave early, even when we're still in the fight. Don't see the point in going at all if you're rushing off to miss traffic.

Its nothing to do with physios or energy drinks. When you look at how Saints and Castleford play, the ball is moved through the backs at a fast pace so effectively the backs make a lot of metres without the forward involvement and therefore their forwards are usually a lot fresher, unlike our play which at most times involves just taking the ball up man by man with no ball movement. This also means with more energy they can protect their last tackle kicker a lot more.I have never seen a half back given as much time to kick as Richardson and the same when Gayle plays which means a much more accurate effective kick. Saints have it all.Confidence, pace,Power and brains. We have endeavour and enthusiasm and a very long way to go to be up there with the top 4 on a consistent basis.

Not forgetting, of course, the large number of senior players who are injured.
