We probably need to win at least twelve from seventeen to make the top four.
Another 8 points is challenging given we've just lost to the bottom side. Top 4 is out of the question, hope for another good cup run.

9th place is currently 8 points behind us. That means at least one of the bottom 4 has to win 4/5 games more than us, that’s not even taking into account the teams that currently sit 7th & 8th needing to jump us too. We’re a poorer team this year for sure but the bottom four look extra poor.

I hope you're right. To me with the disruption we've had and a couple of disastrous performances sealing safety and a decent cup run would salvage something. Let's not forget that Leeds and Warrington have both been in there recently.

Theoretically possible yes, the actuality is that we simply won't be anwhere near the 8s, you have completely lost the plot! We are currently still 5th, if Leeds win we'll be 6th, to be in the bottom 4 Widnes, Hull KR, Catalans and Hudds would all need to win 3 or 4 games more than we do over the same period AND improve their points difference. Either you're a desperately depressive doom and gloom merchant or have no grasp as to how much the bottom 4 teams have to catch up and overhaul us nor how the points system works, frankly I think it's both. We will not be outside the top 8, the thread should be locked.

Not bad considering some on here think I'm on the club's payroll I'm so positive.
You are entitled to an opinion of course, but so am I. We are not safe in the Top 8, have lost Watts and possibly Kelly, Manu, Fash, Abdull long term. An attitude of arrogance and entitlement to safety is not appropriate IMO. That's an opinion. Fortunately you don't have the censure of these boards to stifle relevant debate.
