I dont think the new look formation did any favours though, Fonua and Michaels in particular looked uneasy as a pairing and that has to be one of the shortest centre/wing pairings I can remember, yet we kept kicking high to their corner??
Turgut? I think you and I watched a different game. If by "got stuck in" you mean, headless chicken tackling (aka missed a fair few), poor handling and poor passing (including 15 minutes from time an awful attempt at a straightforward pass for Connor to be under the posts, would have brought us to a 10 point deficit with plenty of time to rescue the game) .
Then, yes he did get stuck in.
Turgut is one of the players I assume Radford referred to as making selection for the final easier.
