But we didn't know we'd progress in the cup when the fixtures came out? Even then we didn't know which station we might be on, or what date the CC fixture would be? It could have been Thursday to Thursday, Friday to Friday, and so on. I think the team will want to play as soon as possible after today, we've had 6 day turnarounds many times, haven't we?

Cas and Hull could have agreed to move the game as soon as the TV schedule for the QFs were announced. Catalans have two extra days' preparation, that is an advantage that we could have taken away.

Indeed, nothing for Cas to gain by moving the fixture simply because it, some believe, would suit us. A much bigger gate on a Sunday than a Friday night game, probably already sold corporate and advertising on the back of it. If we were second bottom and not in the CC nobody would be complaining about the fixture scehduling. It's as if some people believe we've won something already?

Wigan have 3 days extra prep then us too.....however, if we play this game on a Friday, we get 6/7 k. Today, we will get 10K. That said, i'd rather us put everything into wigan next week.
"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."
An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.
