How many great games has he had for us? A handful at best
As for tonight, plenty of effort but we were rubbish with the ball - far too many soft errors and poor decision making.
We have some good players coming in but they're not addressing our real weaknesses which for me are the halfs and hooker. Another disappointing season in 2016 beckons IMO
On the super 8 format, something needs doing to make all games matter, yes part of it needs to be done by us but it's no good having dead rubbers 4 weeks into the concept, didn't catch the crowd tonight but there can't have been more than 6000 inside the ground, it must be hitting our club and other clubs financially

Spot on, we're strengthening the team in areas such as the 2nd row which are already strong. I'm still far from convinced by the halves, Sneyd is inconsistent and doesn't lead the team around the field, I can cut Pryce some slack tonight as he clearly wasn't match fit, but we've signed him a good few years too late. The never ending search for quality, consistent halves continues.

Regardless of the line up tonight thought it was a game we could have and should have won had we been smarter. Too many errors and too many stupid penalties. Pryce was an absolute passenger and for me shouldn't have been playing but I guess that's down to lack of available bodies. The biggest disappointment again tonight in my opinion was Sneyd. Never took the line on barring once, missed glaringly obvious gaps to run in to at times, poor with ball in hand and a terrible kicking game both in play and at goal. None been too impressed with him overall. Story of our season tonight when compared to last week.

Probably the same way they missed the blatant knock on that led to you scoring yours in the first half...
Worst defensive display from us in some time and back to the poor decision making that plagued us before the super 8s. We made nearly as many mistakes as you. Anderson made too many changes and we Played without a proper hooker for 30 minutes. Old faithful ringing out to an almost empty stadium at the end after a 9,500 starting crowd made me chuckle. As did the ambulance man who cheered every try we scored- must be a rovers fan!! You have some very decent young players there. Hope radford keeps them.

I thought 7-8k in the ground, the South stand was the emptiest I've seen it for a league game. it's also noticeable how many passholders around us who have been going for years are now missing several games, and we are now past the summer holiday season. People are finding other stuff to do.
Yes Rankin took the eye but my MOM was Brad Fash, seemed to be involved in every tackle down the middle, great enthusiasm and definitely one for the future.
