Incredible sales considering both teams being low down in the table, and the game being on Thursday night. Got to give both clubs some credit for working together to market the game too...first positive thing I've said about the club in weeks!

I don't live in the area. Has there been much marketing for the game?

, billboards around town for weeks, (including one congratulating Hull on 150 years from Rovers near Hull Royal ) a live press conference from St Stephens, and they've been all over Twitter and Facebook. I imagine the new online ticket options and discount for buying before gameday are helping too, 1.5k bought tickets in the last 2 days whereas in years gone by at this late stage some of those may have risked paying on the day or not bothering to travel to the shop for tickets and watching on TV.
