But 3,000 isn't that great imo given its only across France and a few hours from Dover can basically drive it
Not like its otherside of Europe and need to get flight after flight !
Have you ever driven from Perpignan to Calais? It a minimum of 11 hours drive and thats without stops Then you have the journey from Dover to Manchester Do you know where Perpignan is and are not mistaking it with another French city? Thats the reason fans make the journey by air,so 3000 fans is a decent following
Big commitment from Sky. Guess it means no more Channel 4 though?
Well both broadcasters showed a couple of play off games simultaneously but it depends if Sky Sports are happy to show some weekend lunchtime games. Can't see Channel 4 showing live SL games at peak time on a weekend although that would be great for the sport.
It'll be interesting to see how showing every game live works, there are often four or five games played on a Friday night.

Cant see the point unless Sky are going to sell some game to Terrestrial TV to pull back some revenue

So that's gonna be 14 live games on the box every week across SL and NRL plus any Championship games they screen on top. It's gonna be a tvathon from next year.
