This is not the right circumstance to make such a decision, whether it's the right one or not.

We need a full reset IMO. Acknowledgment that the momentum of success in 16/17 has been squandered, transparency on the financial status of the club and a non-bullshit articulation of plans on and off the pitch over the next couple of years including lease renewal. You have to face the truth to tackle the issues, or be clear how difficult it is to do so effectively, in order to carry the club's only asset (its fans) with you. Making this about replacing the coach alone and everything else is fine and we're aiming for top 4 in 2023 would be insulting.
.

Hardly a knee jerk reaction
Hodgson is way out of his depth and i for one have been calling for him to be replaced for weeks based on non performance, done nothing to address the indiscipline on the field, and my main criticism being the very poor recruitment for this season with non of his signings enhancing the team.
To let him carry on as long as he has and then start recruitment for next season is another big blunder by Pearson.
Dont care what anyone thinks but Sutcliffe is another average signing and if we needed another centre we should be aiming much higher, but once again we have another utility player coming in which seems to be Hodgsons only strategy.
Like i said many times Hodgson is too nice, too loyal to certain players when hard decisions needed to be made and now at last if the rumours are true he has been removed.

Undecided, he's a no nonsense character and i'd love to see some of our lazy players given a harder time but he also seems to fall out with people a lot, also didn't he have a beef with Pearson a few years back?

Agree entirely. Its the lack of seeing any signs of progression that is the biggest Hodgson failing. If I understood what style he was going for and that he needed more time to get the players he needed to make it work i'd be onboard with that. I always had this year down as a transition year and we all know there are a few players here next year we can't get rid of.

The standard of SL is in my opinion the worst its ever been and it woulden't take all that much for a new coach to get a few wins and get us in 3rd-6th, the real gap is to the top2 who are miles ahead now

He's an odd character, but does have the ability to lift people. As you say can't see him getting on with our lazy players.

Don't remember the Pearson thing

Just had a google and Pearson had a go about Toronto in 2020 and Mcdermott called him 'naive'...Toronto eh wonder what happened to them? :)

its not like Leeds won much or developed many top players from their youth set up under him before the Toronto experiment ?

We've been doing our social media announcements at 6 and 7pm.

Can't see anything being announced tonight. Might be worth keeping an eye out

I would quite happily sack
players who haven’t performed for
The past 3 years or so..Taylor was awful again yesterday and hasn’t performed to a good standard for years yet he quite happily points the finger elsewhere…He’s another who thinks he’s bigger and better than he is when in reality his performances have been mid championship standard

Never mind the bollox, bring on the rugby:

He's turned into a right pudding.

Shot out the line again yesterday and tried to put a big hit on
Yiu notice its never against another forward, always against a slight outside back.
