@mikewhitesport Picking up suggestions that Allams may no longer be looking to sell the club. I'm told that's the feeling despite not being in PL. #hcafc
Feel sorry for the proper fans, but the thought of Allam kissing goodbye to that sky money soon gets me over it.
Interesting to see what they do next season. Bruce for me gets cut a lot of slack because he's a nice genuine guy, but ateotd City spent a lot of money this year and have horribly under achieved.
Not particularly a football fan, but feel sorry for the supporters and Steve Bruce. All this Hull Tigers nonsense can't have helped. It's Allam's club but he is ruining it.

In absolute terms £40-odd million is huge money. But everything is relative.
Estimated to have the 18th biggest wage bill in the division and they came in 18th.
Paying out a barely fifth of what the top teams do and finishing between genuine cash-to-points underachievers like QPR and Newcastle.
Bruce is no Billy Beane, but he's done okay.

All the name change animosity can hardly help Bruce, either. £10m on Hernandez is looking like a monumentally poor decision, however.

Agreed. I think SB must take some of the blame because of the awful signings which were made.
