Why would they use their academy when they can use everyone else's, particularly ours and Bradfords.
In all seriousness though I wouldn't mind Milnes or Storton

2017.
That said our pipeline has offered an absurdly poor return on investment over the last 10 or 12 of those years, which is why I thought the RFL’s botched attempt to close our academy offered ‘all sorts of interesting opportunities’ to escape the one size fits all model. Even Lawler and Lewis didn’t follow the standard pathway exactly.

Academy merger was a diaster, set both clubs back a couple of years

Must admit I don't know much about the kid although I do remember him scoring a try in last season's derby , would you say he is better than McNamara and if so what qualities does he have. Fwiw I think McNamara is coming along nicely

He is bigger, faster, good ball runner with an accurate pass and a very good short kicking game. Havnt seen much of him in defence so cant really comment. Ben i think is a couple of years younger is obviously well thought of at the club and has time to develop but needs to show a bit more in attack rather than catch and pass but he is not afraid to defend which is why he may be suited to a nine in the future.
