Absolutely. With the cost of living crisis the primary focus should be on retention of sports fans in attendance and merchandise terms, and re-engaging lapsed fans, I'd imagine this is City's priority. Events are a great supplementary income stream if you get them right but when belts are tightening the priority needs to be the core sporting proposition.

Is City’s new owner meant to be the Turkish “Simon Cowell “ ? He now controls the SMC . I would think he would want events back . A strong viable Stadium, with 2 strong Clubs playing there ? Let’s face it , it’s a better venue than Craven Park . Situated near to the City centre . Who wants to go to a concert in Hedon ? Maybe a development is on the cards ? I was told we were moving from County Rd to a purpose built facility on the old Police Club grounds on Inglemire Lane , opposite the University. Maybe AP is in talks with City’s new owners ? over developing land around the MKM , West Park area ?

Been training behind the Uni quite a bit I think - plus the academy play on the 4G there
