With the cost of living crisis the primary focus should be on retention of sports fans in attendance and merchandise terms, and re-engaging lapsed fans, I'd imagine this is City's priority. Events are a great supplementary income stream if you get them right but when belts are tightening the priority needs to be the core sporting proposition.
