I bet you anything we get a whole host of applications who will look at Pearson fir what he is, a very ambitious owner who puts his money where his month is and backs his coach, even when most others are against. A man who has brought more success than most other SL owners. You only to watch his interview to see how gutted he was to make that decision.
The main stakeholders here are the Hull fans who keep the club going, this wont make any different for us getting a decent coach, anyone with half a brain can see the bigger picture and what a good owner Pearson is to work for.
My lack of respect for Pearson started well before the Connor signing. He’s constantly hit the low standards I expect of him since well before that time. And continues to do so. The fact people got the wrong end of the stick still isn’t proof to you that this was badly handled then! Anyone with half a brain can see that when the likes of tui is even commenting pearson got something very wrong somewhere. You don’t admit on live tv that the players don’t know yet. The mans crass.

And Talanoa wasn't there nor been part of the club for a while now either, he had a good relationship with Radders who gave him the opportunity so will be defensive to him. If you watch the very first bit of the interview it comes across as its may well have been Radford that called it a day. AP is clearly upset at the decision to part ways. He was not sacked live on air, nor has is it been a surprise after performances over the past few years and even with two Cup wins we were at times pretty poor.
Right decision and waiting 12, 24 or 72hrs isnt going make LR, the players or AP himself feel any better. Would having Radford face up to the media with awkward questions about his future and then announce it a few days later going to make everything so much better for LR? No it wouldnt.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
i dont think anyone can complain, if you surveyed all of the hull fans that were in the stadium, 10 minutes before full time and asked if they wanted radford out, they wouldn't have given 2 tosses how it was done.
I admire pearson for being so decisive, rip that band aid off.
As mentioned elsewhere, radford has been very fortunate over the last few years that he hasn't already been given the bullet, and clearly they've spoken following the catalans game about needing an immediate improvement, and instead you got the worst possible performance you could ever put in.
No complaints from me regarding both the decision to part ways with Radford and the way it was announced.
Radford has been on borrowed time for a couple of seasons now and I think he knew that. Pearson has stuck by him during that time and he/the club have invested heavily in various areas to equip Radford for success, yet 7 games into the 2020 season the same issues were apparent. Looking back, you could see from his body language at halftime and during the second half that he felt that was it. I'll be eternally grateful to Radford for those Wembley memories and the sheer effort he's given to the role those years, that should never be undervalued or forgotten.
Reading AP's interview this morning in the Yorkshire Post, it's clear that the announcement last might wasn't from a malicious place, he was still upset about having to speak to Radford & make the decision a short time before. It would've been stranger having had the conversation with Radford, which sounded pretty mutual to be honest, Radford then comes out and fronts up to the press.
What's baffled me is the sheer amount of people that didn't listen properly and thought he was sacked there and then on air. Some people are so odd.
Anyway, cheers Lee and fingers crossed we get the right man in.

I don’t care what you think. It’s fact...in addition to your incorrect, AP didn’t do post match interview, he did a post-mortem sacking LR interview.
Utter disrespect...and it’s only some FC fans like yourself that don’t get it.

It makes you wonder if Houghton purposefully looked backwards, his post match interview raised my eyebrows just before AP buried LR on live tv.
