Stop swearing please, there's no need.
What's the harm in being positive? As I said on another thread (or maybe this one) resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. No point in investing time and energy in something if inspires almost exclusively negative responses - better to do something that sparks joy in you.

Not you! Talking about this thread/board in general. A core of posters wanting Radford replaced, same ones saying we should definitely win against a team above us despite us missing quite a few.
Personally I think we will struggle but it will be close. Our pack has struggled this year, Derby and Leeds apart, and Wakey's is excellent. If we can get Kelly and Connor free we'd have the edge but I worry about their platform. Not an outrageous position, that.

Just give a prediction then, what score do you think it will be?

There is nothing wrong with being positive. There are people on here who won't hear a bad word said about the club. That's fine. It's not my personal position, but I won't criticise anyone for it.
All this stuff you do about injuries, trying to make out we are underdogs every week. I used to think it was just a self defence mechanism. You know, if you convince yourself of this then it won't be so bad if we lose. Then I started to think that it was just your way of defending the club. Make the wins seems better and losses seem not so bad. Now I am convinced that you just do it because you like winding people up and these things will get people to bite (myself included sometimes).
Why not just discuss the game? I have just had a quick skim back through this thread. All of your posts have either been about our injury list (mostly making it sound worse than it actually is, because only a handful would actually be picked if fit) or they have been off topic. Nothing about how you think we should line up, or approach the game, or what threats Wakefield offer, or predictions. It's all just talking down our chances. Then if we do win you will use it (and our league position) as a stick to beat the posters who have been negative.

I honestly can’t see why not , with our middle of Taylor houghton and paea , westerman . Green will be better after a run out, Ellis back in. Fifitas good , but surely our big boys are going to be seriously up for this one . IMO can only see a good win for us

If you put Thompson in a pack that is dominant, his extra pace and footwork can be a real threat against a team on the back foot. But if you need him to actually play a part in laying the platform himself then he is worse than useless. I reckon I could bend the line just as well as he has at times.
He tries hard and he has had some good moments through the years, but he just isn't good enough, and he is actually probably a lesser player than he was 3 or 4 years ago. Shouldn't have brought him back and I can't imagine he will be here next year.
