For me I hope us and wire win next week making the final game against them a dead rubber and we can take a view and maybe rest 2 or 3 players for the week after. Even getting to the GF would be a massive achievement after winning at wembley which I think took more out of the players emotionally than we can probably imagine
No matter what happens in the next few games, this season has been amazing, probably the best I have seen as a Hull fan, good young side to build on also.

Been saying this to my old man since the cc final. No one remembers the LLS winner, I'd much sooner secure second and be able to rest a few in the wire match so we're fresh for a home semi rather than effectively playing another final for the LLS and having an emotional/physical hangover like last week.

LLS winners 2011-2013 were Warrington, Wigan, Huddersfield. None of them got to the Grand Final.

To be honest I thought last night we should have won and created the chances on the first 40mins but daft errors or wrong options saw us fail to capatilise. Then in the 2nd half we got sucked into the arm wrestle that Wigan wanted. We backed off from our usual game in the 2nd half. For me Wigan didn't win it we lost it and not often this season have we said that since the Widnes debacle. So fir me losing last night I ain't too disappointed as we also seemed to have a few players with knocks last night Mini, Taylor & Tank. Still not convinced Carlos at 6 works for us but Sika Manu has come into his own in the latter part of this season.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Really tough game this one and they have a great record at the kc so we need to be on top of our game to win. gelling always seems to cause us problems but if we're going to get to the GF we need to be winning these end of season games.
Hopefully us but not by many I reckon

There has been nothing between us and wire/wigan in our games against us this season. We've scored plenty of points and have the 3rd highest number of tries scored so it's ridiculous to say we're not creative at all. It's easy to throw the ball around like cas when you have nothing to play for and can't defend but when the games are important then you have to play the percentages. We created plenty last night and should have won comfortably but we didn't take the chances and therefore deserved to lose.
I guess it depends on your understanding of the term creative. You have been successful due to having a number of outstanding individuals and a superb pack who should have buried Wigan. But I don't think the sum of those parts is anywhere near as good as it could be with imaginative teamwork rather than individualism. Just because you got close to their line doesn't mean you were creative. You needed to be creative to get over that line.

It was deffo a two on one ball steal, there's a pic linked in the facebook page below showing how obvious it was, disgusting call and would have sealed the game IMHO with us getting a penalty from it had the officials played to the actual rules. https://www.facebook.com/groups/138573949640103/

You mean the free hit that we were always going to lose 6 days after wembley with one training session before the game? Are you really as dumb as you seem? Yes, it was a free hit so carry on with your one man/woman campaign as I love it when people try
