I never said there wasn't a fee, I said it isn't the £150/£135k, it doesn't really matter (as I've said previously)because as we've seen already whatever the amount is, it isn't going to impact our club in any way shape or form, we won't be signing anyone on a wage similar to Westerman (unless we free up that amount by getting shot of other players) and the fee doesn't impact the overall financial situation of the club. Why would people be more likely to believe a conspiracy theorist on an internet message board who puts across his bizarre opinions as fact, than people from the club?
That's a genuine question. Someone choosing to believe what the club says or not, that's fine, but why would people prescribe to your tale of events? What credibility or inside knowledge do you have? Do you have any facts to back up what you're saying? Do you think your posting history would count against people believing your negative spin?
Also, people who passive aggressively write 'HTH' after a post

Firstly, if you think the people who own and run the club spend time trying to concoct stories, then you watched the X files a little too much.
Secondly, If the fee wasn't £150k for Westerman, a figure quoted by both clubs in the press, then how much was it?
Thirdly, What wage was Westerman on?
Finally, how could the receipt of a significant amount NOT impact on the financial situation at the club?

Cretin!

It's like you calling Lee Radford a "turd". Only he isn't able to reply, of course.

So the club/AP have never stretched the truth/told direct lies...okay, whatever, you're wrong but you have your opinion.
I don't have the exact figure, do you, have you seen the amount as documented in the club accounts? if you think that we got £150k for Westerman and believe the club, good for you, I don't. I think it was right to sell him, but I don't believe we got the figure being bandied around.
How much he was on isn't relevant, however if as rumoured by many that that was enough for us to be able to get Carney here and stay under the cap that's all that matters. However the simple matter that IS important is we don't have cap space to fit anyone else on a similar wage/quality to Westerman and that to keep us under the cap we needed to let him go, again, believe what you want to but if you think that we would hold back the salary of an England international player to not sign another quality player, not to mention offer a years contract to Michaels (on the basis that Carney really was on the radar) is totally illogical.
Prove to me how whatever the amount of money has an impact on the club. how much net from expenses, agents fees etc of whatever figure you think it is and let me know what that money is being ploughed into that makes a significant difference to the club. Without that money what would have been scrimped on, the coach...no, that's already a gimme, the backroom staff, nope again, we already scrimp on that too, the academy, well we all know what happened there.

I said he was a "turd of a coach" so get your facts right, as you full well know LR isn't a poster here so if I say I think LR is xxxx then that's not against the forum rules unless it is libellous in which case it would be removed.

No, you called him a turd. The last time you denied it someone posted the quote and then you disappeared for a while, as is your wont.
