You must be the only person I know, including plenty of people down at the 19s that doesn't think he's ready. Logan needs to learn on the job. He's too good for 19's and until there's ever an 'A' team/U23's grade he'll just stagnate if not allowed to progress.
The thing is you can say he's ready I can say he's not, but his coaching team don't see him as ready to play every week in SL & other games, so we can leave it to them eh.

Who is his 'coaching team' then? Because the Hull FC coaches certainly seem to think he is. Shame he's been injured this year really, he could have maybe shown you why.

The argument is largely immaterial. None of our backs will be fit every game next season, and I have no doubts that Lancaster and Logan will get chances to impress. It will be up to them to keep those spots. On the evidence I've seen so far - Shaul, Michaels, Tuimavave, Talanoa, Naughton should all be ahead of them in the pecking order and 3 of those are youngsters themselves. If one of Vidot, Inu or Fonua comes over, then all it takes is 2 injuries to hit the first team. It's highly unlikely that won't happen.
However disappointed a few may be, it's a long way away from starting the likes of Jason Crookes!!
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.

I've watched him play since been a kid, put him on the end of a move he will finish a try, but he will get peppered with kicks & it would knock his confidence. I just don't see him as ready to play every week in SL, Logan is not big enough, turgut was meant to be the next big star to come through, so you see him as ready?

Different matter playing in the pack. Jansin is an outstanding athlete and the only player that looks physically on a par with the Wigan lot. I'd look to get him a loan deal with a SL club for next year.

I agree it's tougher in the middle, but wing is not just about putting the fast kid out there, defensive reads are massive as is the 5th & last plays in fielding a kick, something teams like Wigan/Leeds who are cut throat & would go for the jugular. I hope your right that they get to or are ready to play regular. & I will stand corrected. Plus Callum's from my club so it would be nice to see a blue & white in our clubs colours regular.

There isn't an 18 year old kid in the country that's the finished article, it's about being ready to take the next step. In an ideal world there'd be an in between level, but there isn't and we have to play the cards we're dealt. Logan, Lancaster & Turgut will not progress being kept in the 19's next year (Turgut's too old anyway). Got no confidence in our dual reg with Doncaster and I doubt a Leigh/Fax/Fev/Bradford would want to take our loan players.
Hard signing to comment on at the minute . Only thing that worries me is that he seems to be a utility signing . I have heard he's a replacement for rankin , I'd have no problems as long as we sign a winger and a centre as well which is what we badly need first . Maybe he's earmarked as stand off for 2017 when pryce quits .

Sling em in the deep end would Maybe do them good or bad, but if it was to go bad the club could end up in the relegation mire, & that doesn't bare to think about, we definitely need the a team games back or up the age of u19s to 23s like you say.
