Whenever threads like this come up, back- or front-loaded contracts are always thrown into the mix. I'm pretty sure the live cap got rid of this. Have the rules been changed since to make it possible again? Or are people suggesting that clubs and players would just manipulate this on pure trust?

Though left specifically vague, front ending etc would fall under this ruling.
