If the Australian authorities haven't applied for extradition he need not go back and without that application the police over here would be powerless as he's done nothing wrong over here. There seems to be an awful lot of people here inferring he is guilty on the basis that it is '10 counts' and that he has being named for arrest..those of you binning him off before any court have already decided he's guilty without any facts whatsoever! IF he is found guilty, of course but until he is I think it's pretty bad form the way a lot of people here are talking.. and IF he is found not guilty/charges dropped then I'd be wary of what some posters are writing because it is bordering on libel if you ask me.

Overhere in Oz, the talk is that Bird, Taylor n the rest who have been named are to sue the Titans if they're contracts are terminated or wages held before a verdict.
Can't see much happening anytime soon tbh. It took 2 years for ASADA & NRL to ban the player caught up in the peptides scandal. To top it all off, the largest ban was about 6 games iirc.
Difficult for the club as I doubt radford and pearson want someone suspected of dealing in class a drugs hanging around the squad but not sure where we stand legally
Difficult one legally perhaps. He hasn't been charged and isn't being extradited. Not selecting him or involving him, could that be construed as restraint of trade?

I think it got rubbished last week. Their lawyer said any talk of legal action was premature.
Unfortunately the nrl has to deal with bigger love wit journalists than Fewings. Idiots who demand players get banned immediately when there not but want human rights when they are banned. See the Brett Stewart incident v Kerisom Auvua.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
