You only have to look at what Nathan Brown is achieving at Hudds with a squad of individuals you'd hardly call world beaters. Put Agar in charge of that squad and they'd be in the bottom 5/6 teams in the competition.

Totally agree.

Just been thinking about this debate of is it the quality of players we have or is it Agar;s game plan and tactics....surely if it's the former and Agar's game plan is to be creative with dummy runners, 2nd phase attacks etc then when this doesn't happen why the hell isn't he on the touchline barking orders out?!!?
I would be. I'd be there as close to the touchline as allowed given them encouragement....telling them to get a roll on, fast plays etc....clearly it is down to Agar's tactics and game plan simple as that. He sits up in the west stands detached and as far away from the players as he can be!

A good coach shouldn't have to be down there shouting at players. He should do adequate work prior to the game to ensure that such an approach isn't necessary.
I find it a little worrying that he's obviously going to be our coach next season. His game plan, interchange policy, attacking and defensive patterns are all so inept that I wonder whether a (much needed) change in playing personnel will make sufficient difference.
Or will we have to write next year off as well?

And both points have precisely what to do with whether you can coach players to support play and provide dummy runners? This is the point we are discussing and has zero to do with ability or having a scrum half. You could pick a handful of fans from the stands and get them to run forwards and follow the ball, it's not rocket science. And your suggestion that it's got nothing to do with Agar, it's because none of the players are willing to do it is quite frankly ludicrous.

My concerns exactly.
Looks like we'll have the opportunity to find out the hard way.
