I think the priority has to be a new centre to give us more creativity out wide and possibly a new fullback dependent on Motu Tony's knee
if a top class half back (I mean current international/state of origin standard) was available I would sign them as a priority as well, good though Thorman has been so far (he could be retained as well if we lost a couple of forwards)
I agree for next season a top quality seven is required, we do have 3 utility players in our squad at the moment in Whiting, Byrne & G.Horne, releasing 2 of these would also give us scope to sign an out and out centre and retain 1 player to give us that utility value.
But clearly, Horne and Yeaman are there, or thereabouts compared to the competition at this stage of the season. To say they are inconsistent was a little harsh.
Also, some of our "utility" players have become utilities because of needs over the years. People like G Horne and Whiting have never had the chance to settle into one position because of the injury problems FC have had year-on-year since they started. I know it sounds like a long time but think back to the last time we had a settled squad. Even the winning Challenge Cup team had a winger at full-back and a hooker (now our no 1 fullback) at wing.
Let's give Horne a chance and see how he does. Oh, and let's give Yeaman a chance and see how he does.

I think Byrne's as good as gone
and Whiting unfortunately has it all to prove again, he's been incredibly unlucky with injuries, but we can't hand out new deals based on what he did 2 years ago, nor do I see where he fits into our current side.
i'd give G Horne a new deal though, as he's really upped his game and won't cost much.

Get what you mean with mentioning Agar. Not long enough stints for some players, too long for others. Mystifying bench selection.
Not much of a half time talk either by the looks of it.

Like has been said, first defeat so nobody needs to get too excited about blaming people. Thiose two were at fault for different reasons.
