People are getting carried away with him and when/if he doesnt play well when he gets some gametime people will start slagging him of like they did with Hutch. Im not expecting to much from him so i wont be disapointed if he doesnt play well. If he does its a bonus.

I have't seen any posts on here stating that what he will/wont do, other than yours

Excellent signing imo, has a superb running action that is all about aggression and power. He should be used as a prop from the bench and I reckon he will cause defences plenty of problems if we use him right.
As we now have a lot of props it will be interesting to see who misses out?
Cusack/Dowes would normally start.
Two of Thacks/King/Maloney/Moa/Luauki to come off the bench.
Basically means that if they don't perform we can replace them. I see this being a learning year for Maloney and also Moa with the other 5 fighting for four spots.

Dowes and Cusack to start, with Luauki, Thacks on the bench.
Moa and Maloney as you said will be learning this year and will get a handful of games each. Can't see King getting much game time.

Depends on how Thacks plays though, don't think anything is cut and dried with the pack.

Spot on, I actually mentioned signing Lauaki a couple of years ago but can't find the post.
And if Crocker does get here, then that would add more pressure on places, the best scenario would be :
Cusack
Berrigan
Dowes
Crocker
Tickle
Radford
Bench
Lauaki
Manu/Burnett
Thackray/King
Houghton

Both give alot of penaltys away and are hit and miss especially King. Obviously Agar has realised this so he brought someone in. But i think people are going to be very very disapointed with Moa.
How the hell can you give a opinion like that?.Moa is not even here yet and your writing him off already.Give the guy a chance and reserve judgement in a few months time.
Very pleased with this signing, we needed a beast to replace Carvell and now we've got one! Our pack has certainly shown promise in our first couple of games and with the addition of Lauaki we now have a great balance upfront. Like a few others have said though, I hope this doesn't mean the likes of Burnett/Washbrook/Houghton will get limited game time because we are gifted with some of the best young prospects in the league, and it would be a great shame to see their talent go to waste.

The young kids will get plenty of game time too hopefully. At the end of the day though if we needed to bring in this guy to be competetive im all in favour of a young kid dropping out of the squad. We will still have a huge percentage of our team born and raised in Hull anyway.

As ive said people seem to be expecting alot from Moa when they havent even seen him play most probably.
Like Hutch people was bigging him up, he didnt do anything, everyone turned on him.
