That's the ideal situation, him and Staverley get and take their chance in the first team and we have a 9 and another forward, means we can spend money and quota places in other areas.
Just don't have alot of faith with the club in regards bringing players through.
I do wonder if Lewis had signed for us, would he have made the progress he has at Rovers?

I think he may have, I believe he had a loan spell at Newcastle and really performed well scoring something like 10 tries in 10 games and that really seemed to be the making of him to go back to Rovers at progress.

Plus he has already agreed to sign for Rovers. Rovers still hoping to bring him in this season as part of the Abdull agreement.

You don't half talk some rubbish, why would Catalans give you Mcmeeken mid season, you have already loaned them Abdul, what would they get out of letting Mcmeeken go to you now.
Dave K. wrote:If available I'd also take a risk on Abdul, play him 13, give us another quota spot to play with.
we should have gone all out to bring Westerman back this season Would have made a huge diffence to our attack Not interested what he does behind the pub This culture thing goes out the window when you have two sent off and one yellow carded in the first match

Let's say Carlos, Hoy, Mcintosh, Lane and Houghton leave.
We sign an English centre, I'd target Corey Hall or Jack Broadbent.
An overseas 7 (Clifford, Hawkins, Volkman etc)
A UK backrower, or prop (Mcmeeken)
NRL loose forward like Anista
Walker Tindall Hall Sutcliffe Martin Trueman Hawkins Ese'ese Brown Sao Okunbor Mcmeeken NRL LF
Pele Ashworth Balmforth Fash/Brown
Wouldn't take that much money, need to make smart signings.
Watched York last week, liked the look of Oli Field (ex Leeds academy), definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Hall and Broadbent are two young players that really do have a big future in the game Said last season we should go for Broadbent as he can also play six which would have helped enormously this season. Both have pace to burn

If he is not on the bench for Friday then something is seriously wrong between him and Smith
