Marcus's Bicycle wrote:My mistake I thought it was only 1 year. There were strong rumours a while back that he was on his way and being dropped for a 18yr seemed to suggest that. If he continues to play like he did today both him and Moy will give us enough cover at full back and maybe use the intended FB quota signing for another position.

Really pleased the way he played long may it continue.

been saying i dont see full back as a problem position for us with Walker,Moy, litten and Hardaker as back ups
Would be far better to concentrate our efforts on a quality centre, halfback and and another front row.
We are still weak in the second row and Sao is much better in the front row so if we keep him there then a second row becomes a better option.
Think its time also to say goodbye to Tuimavave

Briscoe again showed why Myler signed him. Solid in all aspects . Ed Chamberlain could be a very astute signing. Then we have the King. Yes only his first appearance but did really well. Big unit. We looked like team all in it together. With the signings coming in next year and maybe more we have to be positive that we can climb the ladder.

Very much agree, imo fullback isn't a priority with the options of Walker, Moy and Litten, if we can sign Lam we'd have a quota spot for the centres and the back row, moving Sao back into the front row is a must and if we can get him off the quota that would be helpful. Ideally I'd love to keep Chan and play him on the edges but reckon Wigan will want him back.

Carlos is done imo unfortunately he can't string a month together, his body is telling him it's had enough.

Agree with everything apart from keeping Chan. I don't think we'll need him. If we use a quota place to bring in a second row we'll have the quota player, Cartwright, Holmes and Staveley. Chamberlain can do a job there as well. Staveley was developing nicely before his injury and I expect him to kick on even more next season.

Feel bad for backing us… with a 16 point start.
Well done all round, bit dumb at times but I’ll take a dumb win this season over anything else on offer.

For where we are, that's a great victory against easily the best team in the land.

Great effort from the lads today.

We're clearly miles away from that Wigan team in quality right now. But a bit of effort can get you over the line.

Pleased for us all.

Enjoy.

Love to be going to Catalans next week, but I'm working and am gonna miss it. Probably won't even get to watch it.

But to you going. Have a great time and sing us home to victory. There's no stopping us now

Terrific performance, the turnaround has been immense and that lies with the coach,I would be cancelling Cartwright and give grix a season,Cartwright 59 and never been a head coach,i wonder why.?
