They haven’t got one fit Academy player who can go on the bench?

Yes, but it wouldn't fit the narrative.

Good point. That makes sense now.

Maybe also don’t want to have to pay another player on the salary cap. Burger sales may be down this month.

Absolutely laughable really that they're claiming they can't name 17 players.
Academy season is finished for them and they've cancelled the reserves game for them this week so how can they not find 1 fit player? Not like they're even playing Melbourne, they're playing another massively understrength team who will also have academy players out there.

All just so that if they lose they have ready made excuses for their fans, and if they win they can big it up as one of Rovers greatest ever wins.

They must have 50 players, first team, reserves and academy, you aren't telling they have 34 injured players and they couldn't name a few in the squad and put one of the bench.

Top dogs as Bob says.

They could even name a player with a knock just to sit on the bench for 80 minutes. That would be more respectable and less embarrassing than claiming they can't name 17 players.
Even just an academy player to make a 5 minute cameo at the end.

It's a complete embarrassment in my opinion.

They can add to squad all a lot of rubbish they've had four players on loan, McINTOSH will come in if fit

Rovers have come out and explained the situation. We've 29 players unavailable across the club. You mention academy players able to step up..... That's what they've been doing the past 6 weeks. Look at the squad. Who do you think Fishwick, Barley, Dawson are, They're 17 year old academy players.

The academy side that played yourselves on Saturday and drew was pretty much made up of first year academy players aged 16. Of those that are fit, If they were ready to face men then the club would throw them in.

Registrations are closed otherwise they'd bring players in. Even Mcguire stated if they could both him and Delaney would don a shirt.

What doesn't fit the narrative for you all on here is that Hull KR actually have an injury crisis and only have 16 players.

‎"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.
