I wonder if it’s anything do with the Grand National being on.

.... Hudge has probably bought the broadcasting rights. :D

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Try BOX bar on deansgate. It’s similiar style to tribal. Does food and has lots of split tv screens. You’d probably have to book though as it’s a busy area.

Who are Hudds favourite with??

Just you?

Or is it deflection yet again for if we lose?

Most bookies have us as the marginal favourite although it's close.

Have faith.

Lane and Cator loose forward and Lovodua starting 9 if all were fit.

I agree with that

Eh? For starters it's already been mentioned in this thread that we are 7th favourite of the last 8 (ahead of only Wakefield), guess your reason for not jumping on that post is obvious.

Secondly I suggest you look at the link ccs posted.

How does Huddersfield being favourites "deflect" from anything? If we lose it's likely because they are the better side on the day, which some apparently expect them to be.

Our discipline is key to winning this game
Just watched the Wigan game again and little wonder we couldnt pull away when you see the stats.
These are stats from watching the game again not what sky produced
first half second half

Penalties 2 4
six again 5 1
errors 3 4
in goal
dropout 1 0

Come up with that level of indiscipline again and Hudds will beat us.
When you consider just how much possession we we gave away to Wigan and the drain on the teams energy having to make so many more tackles than necessary it actually shows how fit we are as a squad and the effort the team put in on the day.
When we start well we normally seem to win.Dropping the ball on kick off is what we dont need.
Just hope Hodgson comes up with the right selection to do the job as he likes of Brown and Mitch dont really deserve to lose their places

I agree, discipline is key and also cutting out the unforced errors.

We've got the lowest error count according to the SL stats.

I'll give you the indiscipline though.
