The haters are gonna love me for saying this but im a bit underwhelmed if im honest. He will effectively replace Mini but is he as good as Mini? - id say a long way off even if Minis career is now on the downward. Savelio is 23, he's had 4 clubs so far that none have seemed like theyve wanted to keep him, a dodgy injury record and from what i remember of him at Saints he wasnt that good anyway with rumours of him always thinking that he was better than he actually was ala Liam Watts.
We should of gone in for Joe Greenwood who went to Wigan when we had the chance - miles better player than Savelio

The fact he has been through a number of clubs and has just come back from a serious knee injury is a slight concern, yes. However I think that is far outweighed by the potential he has. He is only 23 so has a lot of development in him and he will likely have grown up since his Saints says. Plus Brisbane saw enough in him to sign him in the first place. Good non-fed players are hard enough to come by as it is without being picky to that degree. As for Greenwood, perhaps we didn't have the means to sign him when he was available or mayve we did try but he preferred Wigan.

Give him some time Seb and i am certain you will change your opinion. he is a real athlete big strong runner and still young. If he fits into our club culture he will be a very good signing I have been critical of Radford but i like the nucleus of young forwards we now have at the club. Savelio,Levy,Bienek,Masi,Jordan Lane and Jack Brown. If we recruit well for next season with the overseas spots we will have then we could be a force once again with real strength and depth.

I hope Andre doesn't read this post. He'll be mortified that you don't rate him.

Not so much ridiculous as almost constant negativity.

You can twist things to suit anyones agenda.
I think the only fact is that he has had a serious injury, nobosy can argue that, he has had 4 clubs, yes, one was on loan and another he was injured before he got a chance and the way the NRL is, you often don't get a 2nd chnace with the young kids they have coming through.
He was highly rated at Saint, Cas and Warrington by most of the fans and the coaches at all three wanted to keep him.
A few clubs were also interested in signing him at same time we did.
Personally think he is a good young player with lots of potential, potential to play at the top level for the next 10 years or so, possible attitude problem, but hopefully he is mature enough to realise this needs to improve if he wants to progress, this time out might have done him good as a time to reflect on his career and get it back on track.
