If you look at his stats last time he was here. He was second and third in tackles made in 14 and 15. This year our defence has been way off - scoring hasn't been a problem, but defensively we are conceding lots of points. He will help shore up our defence if he keeps his workrate up in that way. On rotation with Hadley it gives us two different styles of play - or with both in the back row gives us two varied styles of attack.
Give the guy a chance - he is a solid experienced player who we have made 150k out of and now pay him less than 2 years ago.
Probably means that we can sell Abdul to the highest bidder and recover a fee - as a contracted player who is under 24, we are entitled to a fee to cover his development as a minimum. Can see Wakey being interested - if as rumoured they have tried to flash the cash at Westerman.

We need another forward and without a non fed spot available we wouldn't likely have picked up anyone better without paying a fee and even then the other club has to want to sell.
Good move IMO. I thought he copped some unfair flak when with us before and he's a hard worker with a decent engine on him. He was always well up on the number of tackles and he's a big unit so if we use him correctly he'll certainly add something. I'd prefer to see him used wide out rather than in hadley's current ball playing role but hopefully he's jrer to work hard as he's getting near to last chance saloon if he's going to realise his undoubted talent.
As for abdul, he has some talent but doesn't have the speed for a half back or the physique for back row in a side with aspirations of top 4. i hope he goes to rovers if he does leave and that he does well there

It's is last tackle stupid penalties he gives away that destroys me about him , cut them out and stupid big hit miss tackles he attempts and sticks to the simple stuff done well, he could do ok

I heard That Washy has a new one year deal on half money with a place on the coaching staff for 2020. Apparently Radders was not in favour but him and Lasty had a few heated words and this was the end result. Obviously I wasn't in the room at the time. It's just what I've been told. I think Mini could be on his way. What is he, 36?

I find it hard to believe radford would re sign a player he didn't want just because andy last did want him.
I thought mini had a really strong running game last night but remains to be seen if he can stay fit. Certainly looks in better shape than many players younger than him

He also clocked off on occasion but I think a lot of that was fatigue as he generally played the full 80. Needs to play wide out for me where he could be really good but I suspect he'll play down the middle and rotate with hadley
