I think 2 divisions of 10 isn't too bad an idea. It should soften the blow of relegation whilst allowing 5 or 6 championship teams a but more central funding and time to develop and grow.
For those whinging about playing each other 3 times, isn't that exactly what we had a few years ago in SL anyway? It wasn't perfect but unless we can add a couple of competitive teams to SL then it's probably the only realistic way
we played Bradford Northern and Leeds 4 times in 1980/81, Widnes and Castleford 5 times in 1981/82 for examples. Sure there were more competitions back then (yorkshire and JPT/Regal additional to what we have now) but it's when you add in the friendly with the bin dippers and that we were previously matched up for the Magic weekend game that it got grating and affected the attendances. Sometimes being successful means you'll end up playing a couple of teams 3, 4 maybe even 5 times if they are too.

We have it now for the top 8. We played Leeds 5 times last year. And Wigan 5 times in 2016.
I could warm to two leagues of 10 as long as the second tier was well funded. Salford are looking to reduced their salary bill to 1.4m and that could be the level for a second division. Fully pro but with lower costs for the smaller teams.

Just watching Catalans and they are beyond useless. Don't care who we have missing, if we can't bag 2 points against them on Friday we might as well start seriously thinking of the middle 8's.

All those expecting an easy victory against this 'poor' Catalans side are forgetting something, this is Hull FC here, we could be the team that battered em at home the season before last in the CC, equally we could play as abjectly poop as we did away in Perpignan last year
