So if we have any player on a minimum of 10 years’ service in our squad, we can spend as a club an additional £50k above the cap. It's not necessarily pinned to one player in particular.
that's the way I see it, but someone alluded a while ago that it was "per player", which I never saw proven/disproven.

That's my understanding although I can't see any clear confirmation on the RFL's Operational Rules. It used to say that, though.

Yeh, just had a look myself and there's nothing on there.
Although, near the bottom of that section in 'appendix 1', there's a 'long service concession' section, citing clause 5.8 - which is probably the section they've taken out.

Maybe this has been scrapped for 2015?
not like the RFL to change the rules without letting the fan base know!
Quote:Where a Club is able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the RSCM that one of its Players has been registered with that Club for ten consecutive Seasons (the first Season being deemed to be the one in which the Player registered as a professional player with the Club), the Salary Cap Value of that Player in the Salary Cap Year in which the eleventh (and any subsequent consecutive) season falls will be deemed to be 50% of the value that would otherwise apply.
A Club may notify the RSCM in writing the name of the Club Trained Player to whom it wishes the following allowance to apply (the “Club Trained Allowance”). If approved by the RSCM, the Club Trained Allowance will immediately operate to reduce the nominated Player’s Salary Cap Value by an amount up to £50,000 for the remainder of the applicable Salary Cap Year.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
