The double standards on here is incredible. Agar is criticised for not keeping his thoughts to himself, yet we are all aware how important confidence is in sport and as a collective crowd have done our best to undermind individual players and the team.
Over the last 2 seasons at various times we have jeered Motu Tony, Craig Hall, Tommy Lee, Chris Thorman and the team generally. What positives have come of this?
The fans have a right to voice their opinions. The players are happy to take the plaudits when things are going well. They are not immune from criticism

Imo this was clearly due to lack of confidence, but did we as a crowd try to lift the side and support this attempt to play a more expansive game? No, we got on the player's backs even more and this caused them to revert to type. And then we applaud/cheer the Crusaders for scoring against us! I wonder what Lauaki and Tansey thought of the faithful at that point.
You must have been watching a different game to me. I saw 39 minutes of complete dirge which epitomised our play under agar

The board and players are 100% to blame. The fans have been very patient but enough is enough
yello-belly wrote:It is not surprising that our best rugby was played, in the second half against Leeds, when the pressure was lifted from the players and we got behind them. This is probably what Agar means about training well all week, when there is no pressure, and not reproducing that form on game day.
It's not surprising our best rugby against leeds was played after they'd gone 36 - 12 up just after 1/2 time and took their foot off the gas. It's agar's job to get what happens on the training field to happen on game days
yello-belly wrote:I know some people will say that enough is enough, and there comes a time when we have to let our feelings be known. I understand this, but we all know that we have an average squad. From the signings announced for next season it appears that Agar and the board know that too. Getting on the players backs now serves no purpose, other than to unsettle the team further.
Finally some sense. Enough is enough
