There’s a 2000km fence that runs across the middle of Australia

On one side is sheep and the other the dingos

Workmen travel the fence all year to look for holes etc

If you are referring to the Dingo Fence it's total length is over 5500 Kms. The section across Queensland of about 2500 km is indeed patrolled by workmen.
