People now trying to look intellectual to get 1 over on another, so many instant experts.
Can we not lock this thread and move on. It's pointless carrying on this stupid debate.
If people wish to continue their petty squabbles do it as pm.
no, Nottinghamtiger is trying to use completely irrelevant evidence to demonise a Hull FC player. You don't want to read reasoned argument, fair enough.

im surprised you haven't got wound up about it by now? you tell him

I do not think he is, however you clearly do and have taken issue with him. It is a personal disagreement not even a reasoned arguement (spelt correctly) and very boring to read. You are now so far removed from the original topic that this thread has disintegrated into just a petty squable between yourselves.
Kelly has behaved like a bell regardless of the provocation. He has been dealt with by the club, end of. What is the point of continuing this thread?
nottingham tiger is just praying we sack him so cas can pick up another quality player from us and standee obviously has too much time on his hands.
Should kelly have done what he did? No, obviously not but to suggest he should be sacked for it or that it's akin to some teacher boffing a pupil is ridiculous.
Time for standee to go and so his maths homework and everyone else to stop posting on here

That’s clearly not what I was suggesting. A poster claimed its unlawful to dismiss someone for conduct away from the workplace. I provided the clearest evidence I could that she/he was wrong.
I wouldn’t want Albert Kelly anywhere near my club. Like Hardaker, his next disaster is always around the next corner.

I'm pretty sure that you've been all over the forums most of the day saying he should be sacked.
Standee doesn't have the slightest grasp of anything in the real world and even claimed that the maccy d's employee contravened GDPR regs even though they're not even in force yet so I think we can disregard anything he says.
Of course someone can be sacked for something they do out of work if it can be proven that it is in contravention of company rules/policies. As none of us are privvy to these then you or I cannot say whether he could (or should) be legally sacked and morally I see no reason to sack him. Mow our moral compasses may be pointing in a slightly different direction on this one but even if they wanted to, Hull may not actually be in a position to sack kelly, just as they may not have been with watts.
The club cannot comment on teh specifics of what has happened for obvious reasons hence the very spare information coming from the club so we just have to accept it's been dealt with in line with company policies and move on
Todd Carney's NRL career appears to be over after Cronulla sacked the five-eighth after a photo of him engaging in a vulgar act circulated on social media on Saturday night. The Sharks released a statement on Sunday evening to say: "The Cronulla Sharks Football Club has today after careful consideration and lengthy deliberation, including discussions with senior NRL management, made a decision to terminate Todd Carney’s NRL playing contract effective immediately. At the Sharks we are committed to building a successful club, a club with strong values and a club which sets and respects high standards in all aspects of its operations and activities. When Todd was first signed to the Sharks he was made well aware of his responsibilities both on and off the field, to himself, the club and to the game in general, however the photograph that appeared last night on social media does not meet the values and standards the club is looking to uphold and take into the future.

Albert is obviously 'not a very nice man' and he likes to get drunk quite often. Hopefully a Catalans player will give him what he deserves at the weekend, a jolly good tw@tting !
