Not so. Someone who commits murder probably does it in their own time. Employees can be dismissed for gross misconduct away from the workplace and indeed many are. Anyhow - it seems Hull have decided to deal with it internally. In my view it sends out the wrong message, but on the upside it’s less likely an NRL club will want him so he’ll stay in SL.

"The tribunal was chaired by his Honour Judge Rodney Grant, who criticised the club for failing to take steps to stop the homophobic chanting, for failing to identify the perpetrators, for failing to challenge the chanting and for their failure to undertake a meaningful inquiry afterwards."
Same really. Completely unacceptable. Indeed, we have some moronic supporters who will cost us money again in the near future. The chant about Shaun Wane is disgusting and it’s a matter of time before they land us in bother again.

It's very so for dismissing someone just because they've made a tool of themselves. Bringing murder into the argument ffs Kelly acted a tool it's not a hanging offence. I'd like to see you successfully dismiss someone for being drunk in their own time and not at the work place and being obnoxious as you will find that is almost impossible no matter what the company policy is on behaviour.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I guess it depends on the context. Many professions have a nationally agreed professional framework that has to be followed at work and out of work, such as doctors, nurses, police officers, teachers......). Anyone in these professions would certainly be disciplined for the type of behaviour Kelly exhibited and likely be dismissed.
He has been disciplined, based, one assumes, and all the facts, not just a snippet.
If you really want to see foul and abusive language, take a look at some of the twitter accounts discussing Kelly, probably when they were stone cold sober (or not).
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Of course unpleasantness happens. But just because it happens, doesn’t mean it should be condoned. I wouldn’t support any player at Cas who did the same thing.
I am guessing from this you have not ever been out in Nottingham over the last l My 15 years then.

bullshine, no employer can summarily dismiss someone for out of work behaviour, it's called EMPLOYMENT LAW.
You don't do Twitter because you wouldn't even follow yourself.
