Wigan are the benchmark As shown last season. Wire and kr pushed them close. Leigh Salford saints followed but the rest were poor and we were abysmal. New players coming in will change the dynamic of our team. We get the next signing in with a bit of quality in the middle and Absolutely No reason why we can go well next season.

People have been saying the same for the last 6 or 7 seasons. They were as deluded as you.
We're relying on a 35 year old winger playing at full back, an obese half back, another who is about 35 and 2 hookers, one of who is really a half back but not really good enough to play there and another who was kept out of Salfords team last season by 2 half backs playing hooker.
Add in the worst centre partnership in superleague and a pack of forwards who are pretty much what we had this year, Holmes and asiata apart, and I have no idea why you think we'll do well

I don't think Handley will make a good centre, as I don't think he has the passing game or defence to play there
As for not watching Sivo, I watched him loads last year and yesterday, he will score trys, but has alot of mistakes in him and if you watched the game yesterday you would have seen how dodgy he is under the high ball.
Anyway if you could read and be able to understand, i was talking about more the fact Leeds have two good non quota winger and a couple of good young kids, there pack needs strengthening more than wing, rather than his ability.

Rapana good enough to play fullback for a decent NRL team and play really well there but not good enough to play FB for a team that won 3 games and finished 11th.
I’m far from sold on our recruitment in general but the switch to fullback for Rapana is just natural progression in the modern game, it’s not the 70s or 80’s anymore these athletic outside backs are conditioned to play all back positions. In Aus if Cobbo goes on the open market he’ll go for marquee money for someone to play him fullback despite him only ever playing wing or centre.
Plus if Moy’s ready for a bit of game time at any point Rapana can switch back to wing or centre. As it looks like we won’t be bringing in another centre, personally I’d also look at keeping Walker to give us even more flexibility but looks like that ship has sailed for whatever reason.

Agree with you on Handley at centre. If I was Brad Arthur I'd be sticking Sivo outside Connor. Think he'd get 20plus outside him.
Saying all that Sivo has been hot and cold for the Eels, if he comes over here switched on he'll be box office, but he could quite easily be another dud.

Nothing to suggest Walker will be leaving. He was training at Total Fitness with Litten the other day. Hopefully he will stay which as you say, will give us more flexibility

His agent has publicly said he thinks he’ll be leaving despite being contracted for 2025. Agents do like to agitate to get a move for a client but if you listen to interview it seemed the opposite to me, it was like for whatever reason Hull wanted to move him on. He seems a good pro and actually has a lot of quality about him so would be a no brainer for me but reckon he’ll end up at Hudds to replace Connor.
