Players on long term contracts etc. Our spine has hardly played together With approx 10 games banned this season.. ( that is a ridiculous amount of matches ). The players are letting hodgson and the club down.
The trouble is when you look at our first 13 they is only 2 who I could see being in a side in the top 4. Connor and Satae. The rest are either injury prone, bad attitude, not good enough , lazy or past it.

Everyone is pouring petrol on the Hodgson fire but replacing him alone wouldnt solve the problem. We would be sixth at best.
End of the day we all know who the players are who need shipping out, the ones who think they are untouchable and put a shift in when they feel like it.
The ones who half heartedly attempt a tackle, or don't track back at all and just stop. The same ones who stand and huff and puff arms on hips behind the sticks pretending it wasn't them who let the fans, teammates etc down.
My first issue is these players, how they can cash their wages and pull on the shirt i don't know, absolute joke the sheer lack of effort and intensity at times.
My second issue is Hodgsons persistence in playing them, when we have young hungry professionals waiting to give their all for the club not getting a chance.
For the record il list those I think are a joke as not alot do.
Top of the pile Josh Griffin, followed by Shaul who's now out on loan, Scott Taylor, Danny Houghton if you don't enjoy playing for your hometown club anymore quit, stop cashing a wage. Jordan Lane who's been influenced by all the above in my eyes and looks half arsed at times. Bit of a Radford era clique in my eyes.
Remove the above and replace and I reckon the bickering and infighting stops. As well as the toxic rot
There are others who simply arnt good enough, but Hodgson does seem to eventually spot this and move them on. Needs to be more ruthless and remove a chunk of Hull born.

However, in view of our famous slogan it does make them look slightly hypocritical. I'm as unhappy as the rest about the current state of the club but I won't be walking away. I've followed them since the 1940's and seen much worse times than these. Hodgson may not be flavour of the month, but for the time being he is our coach and we need to back him and Adam to get it right. Let's see what next season brings before we pack our bags and go.
You're right it is an option for each and everyone to decide that enough is enough and walk away temporarily or permanently if they feel that is what is best for them, its not hypocritical just because of a slogan especially when paying out for a season we never had without thinking of taking a refund. I may not have followed since the 40's but since the 70's and seen my own share of bad times with the club and stuck by it.
However for me even in the darkest days I've seen with the club when it was struggling very much on and off the field due to finances and with it a crop of players that weren't the best we've ever seen in the black and white. However what kept me going every week home and away was the team even though it wasn't that talented the players at least had pride in themselves, the shirt and the club and you could see that in the effort they put in. Fast forward to the current team that have had everything they want or need provided by AP yet don't seem to have much pride at all which shows in the pitiful performances we have seen just far too may times.
Its also not so much about the money side of it more the enjoyment or the rather lack of it that is the ultimate driver in my decision, life is short and I don't want to continue doing something that is no longer enjoyable just for the sake of it. It used to be a good escape from the stresses and hassles of life but now it just adds to it and has done for a while. Lockdown hasn't helped as its certainly made me look at things a little differently these days and no doubt others have too.
As I said earlier if others see me as a fair weather or not a true supporter then so be it but rather do stuff that I get enjoyment from than worry about that.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

To be fair that's largely Reynolds and Gale. Hodgson signings.
