Either way whoever’s figures you use and even if Hull/AP admitted they wanted a season well under the cap to balance the books (quite reasonable in the circumstances) it’s still been horrendously managed when you consider London are spending 1.4 and Salford and Cas 1.7.
Completely agree, he’s either a liar or the cap was mismanaged even worse than we thought. I was told he was adamant we’d spent 2.1m which is just insane if true.
I could be reading more into Grix' comment at the end of his interview about the overseas players arriving, he said he was unsure on their plans, but the Internationals (England v Samoa) could impact arrival dates. We haven't signed a Samoan international have we?

I admire your dedication to reading between the lines but reckon he’ll just be speaking in general that usually different players report in or report back at different times depending on international fixtures etc.

Must have some cap left, if we could shift Sao, Walker Smith and Tindall and bring in Bateman (Wests playing alot of his salary salary), Bullock and Te Whare, we look alot better and more balanced.
