Winning 2 opening games isn't much to shout home about
Think was 2009 when we won first 5 and ended up no where
That is 14 years ago, we weren't average at all in 16 &17, we probably let the celebrations of a cup win harm the GF chances we had, as we could well have done the double with that squad, had the culture from within, been different.

They can't be that bad 2 weeks on the spin, especially at home.
They might lack a bit of size up front, but they've got a big back 4 this week.
Hopefully we've got enough craft in the spine to see us get the 2 points

I hope Clifford continues to guide us around the pitch , as he looks the part, but I'd also expect Sezer to pepper Mackintosh with kicks, as that is one of their strengths and his obvious weaknesses , Fusituu (spell?) is brilliant on kick plays. It may be nothing, I got the impression, from the Warrington game, that there may be some squad unrest there, not unlike us last season. On paper , they should be much better, but if we shut down their halfbacks, their pack isn't that dominant. In hope , more than expectation, I'd back us by 8 points.

Rohan has tinkered with Leeds all preseason, I'm not surprised they lacked cohesion against Wire. They'll pick up, just hope they struggle along for one more week.

Nene MacDonald is too and Scott is pretty short so we will have to protect him

Having both lovodua and Houghton on the bench together
Leaving dwyer on the bench until last 5 minutes along with Taylor and satae
Another 2 minutes we'd have lost Sunday
Hopefully a nice learning curve
Our bench was poor ala Brett Hodgson but the most concerning part of Sundays game was having Satae,Taylor,Evans and Dwyer all sitting out a lot of the second half. That said it was an entertaining first half with a much quicker play the ball moving us up field. Cas had a great offload game but as Smith said if our tackle technique had been right they wouldnt have been able to do that. Hopefully tonight we may see more players bending their back into the tackle so the player is forced onto the grass before they can offload

I do get this point regarding the bench, however I see it as a positive, we got the two points and was able to keep key players on the bench and fresher ahead of a quick turn around. I think this was part of the plan having one eye on todays game.

But the "short turnaround" Sunday to Friday will happen alot as obviously alot of our home games are a Sunday
Can't use that as a excuse as was the clubs decision to play more Sundays
For me Friday are better for atmosphere and of course extra 2 days rest for the players would of been better
