No thanks, someone with some computer savvy set up a hull saver fund and I’m in

I imagine we all spend money on non essentials as we see fit. If you bought a couple of bottles.of wine this week, for example, is that to be criticised too?

Why the guilty conscience coercion all of a sudden. Haven't we always had folk struggling to buy food etc? Have you refused to spend money at the sports club in the past to rather support someone struggling to buy food? fair enough.

no coercion at all, just a genuine question. People spend their money as they see fit, personally I think donations to a business in the current state of things is not the best use of any cash, but as I say, that is what I think personally

I don't see the club as a business. I see it as my weekly escape, the chance to let off stresses from work and home. The chance to see people from our community flourish in a sport that they love to play. I see it as a team, an entity that we can all get behind. I see it as a piece of history that my family through generations have followed with passion and love. It is the euphoric high of a cup win, or the devastating lows of a defeat.
But if it is just a business to you, then that is fine.

I'd happily contribute, maybe so kind of raffle with club related prizes. I've just signed up for Hull Fc live to help the club out and get my rugby fix, although it could be the Leeds game on repeat.

The club to me is more than a business too. It's part of the community, it's were 4 generations of my family have been and where I go with my friends, family and take my children to watch, the next generation of fans. If there was anything I could do to assist our great club I would also do what I could.

all laudable, if somewhat romantacised feelings. Will the first team squad give 10% of their salary back "for the good of the club"? I doubt it. We are not, and have not since SL came in, talking about labourers, fishermen, warehouse workers. I will take whatever abuse people want to throw at me, bring it on. Sport is a hobby,, it is not an intrinsic part of society. Do you think M'au, Savellio, Fonua crossed oceans out of anything other than £'s?
