Yet lose, and still joint second place, and we're in a major crisis.
The small margins of sport eh?
It would have been papering over the cracks thought wouldn't it.

The problem is we didn't do what was needed and the manner in which they went about it was simply not good enough and another heavy defeat at home and it isn't an isolated incident which is why its an issue.
But lets just ignore that fact and yippee were in joint 2nd well 4th actually due to our shockingly bad negative pts difference with a very real threat of not making the top 5 based on recent performances. Its not a major crisis but there are serious issues that need addressing. Why should we just be happy as we're still in the top 5 but ignore the fact we have, this season turned in some of most abject performances on more than a few occasions?
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I hate to say it, but I can see a blow out like last year.

Who is saying we are in a major crisis? We are a decent side who have had a mediocre season. Under Radford, that's all we can ever hope to be imo, regardless of who we sign. If we really want to be a serious threat next year and beyond, there needs to be a change in coaching. If he doesn't get us to a grand final this year then that should be the end of the road imo.

We didn’t look like a decent side on Saturday, and considering the reward on offer, the performance was heartbreaking. Admittedly we were without Sika & Mini, plus Albert.
Regarding Radders, he will be in charge next year regardless of making the GF or not this year. With the new playing staff assembled, next year he has to improve our style of play, and our defence is nowhere near good enough to win anything.
The basics have been forgotten this season, catching, passing, running, tackling.

We really are missing a trick with Shaul's inability to create. Whether that is his fault or the Radders I do not know. But it needs sorting.

It’s got to be tactical, Radford obviously doesn’t feel the need for the fb to turn provider, clearly it ain’t something practiced in trading over the last 5 years. Shaul still wouldn’t be in the team if it was something practiced for that long and he still ain’t getting it

I agree with most sentiments posted on here but I do think shaul is a victim of our pedestrian passing most times .Like Jake mentioned a few posts back , By the time he's linked in and got the pass , theres no overlap created or gap to run into . I'd drop Sneyd before Shaul , He's way to inconsistent player for such a important role .
