So we all won't be happy until we have a team that wins 50-0 (no pun intended) every week, with players making zero mistakes,we concede no penalties,we get all the refereeing decisions and never get any injuries...
Joking apart, although dissapointed with the way we've lost,it's been pretty entertaining compared to recent times?

What about the back to back penalties that led to a try and last week against Cas for a penalty under the posts.Thats why he is getting some stick not just for one mistake. If Watts is to step up to International or England consideration he has to learn how to Tackle and cut out the penalties. Last season he was our stand out front row, this season he has been our most inefective apart from Green.

But again pinpointing Wattsy for mistakes against cas, we make mistakes all over the pitch from minute 1 to 80, he's in the middle trying to slow the PTB down whilst defending, he's bound to make a few wrong choices, he is a good player who will put right what he's doing wrong, we dony need to get out the pitch forks just yet.

Lifting the opponents leg when he had absolutely no need tho mate ,we had them pinned in there own 20 with 2 tackles remaining wtf Tbf to watts his leg pull was just the same as The Tanks slap And his brain fart at the end was just as bad as Pryce kick through in the 2nd tackle against cas .!!we need to smarten up in reguarsa to sloppy pens , could be wrong but didn't Wigan score off the back of 4 pens ? Coyh

Most people predicted 4th to 6th and that's the form we're showing. The O P probably predicted 8th but now decides to sound off when we've gifted a couple to the opposition. Thick is the word that comes to mind and I'm not just talking about some of our players.

Disagree about the 1st pen,the Wigan player knew what he was doing and milked the bugger and got his reward

Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Positives for me:
For entertaining rugby Forwards Never giving in, last season the last two games would have been easy away wins. New signings, really impressed with Taylor and Manu, Washy has impressed and still think Carlos will be a great signing, has been very well watched. Frank will also come good when the weather is better. Houghton and Shaul have been excellent. Goal kicking.
Areas of improvements: Discipline Using our brains and not panicking Closing a game out Goal line defence(particularly the right side) Use of subs Consistency of halfs.
We have been lucky with injuries so far, they are starting to come, so it could be a good test of our squad.
Big three games which will test the team and coach.
Top post Dave. I agree with all those positives and the areas we need to improve on.
Regarding that first positive, I would say that based on these opening games we've closed the gap on our best and worst performances. We've seen two great wins and two narrow defeats in which we were in with a chance of a positive result right up to the end. We've yet to be completely outclassed or deliver an abject performance. I've enjoyed what I've seen for the most part even if it has been somewhat frustrated these last two games.
The worry I have about the areas that need improving is that they are largely the same issues that have plagued us season after season. It's early days this year so there's obviously time to improve but because I have that deja-vu feeling about this I won't be holding my breath that we will see such improvements. I'll be hoping the team proves me wrong though!
