Yeh agree, u23 will do them the world of good , although can see abdul taking 1 of the hb spots if we have a fully fit first team

Sorry if this has been covered, but my only question of an otherwise great interview is how can we be at full cap (according to Pearson) when we've let a player go from the squad and not replaced him?
Otherwise, thought they spoke really well and it did its job of getting me excited for the upcoming year.

I think he meant with Westerman in. So Westerman's salary is now freed up, hence Carney interest. Could be wrong.

Ah ok, thank you. I suppose if no one comes in before the start of the season it'll mean a bit of space to bring an emergency player in when Hatton injures all our players........
As I've said, the plan was to let Westerman go to allow the other signings to fit us in under the cap, we have no cap space and there was never any chance of signing Carney. Unless we somehow were to lose Micheals and AN Other we couldn't sign anyone on his salary, all the rumour of player power blocking any potential signing of Carney are utterly ridiculous & just more bull to cover up the spin/smoke coming from the club. It's a great web of lies but people will believe almost any old shiate coming from the club no matter how far fetched
