Late entry for understatement of the year.
It's becoming abundantly clear that the problems with the on-field side of the operation were even more widespread than it appeared. It's also clear, as mentioned by Wilf, that the gloves are off following the Luke Briscoe affair. Must admit that so much candour, openness, and passion is a real breath of fresh air.
A superb statement of intent and I am more excited about the future now than at any time since I started following the club in the 80's. Roll on next season.

I some respects it woud appear that someone has maybe done something against the club (Yesterday) that has riled Mr P and now as far as the last Board is concerned the gloves are off!
“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Same here Wilf, couldn't agree more, AP given an almost Churchillian type speech. The guy oozes class and is just what the club needed in that he has drive, desire and ambition for success.
Seems he is also alittle more determined to bring success to the club after Briscoegate, get the feeling he knows where the external source has come from.
Top marks Mr P
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I have supported Hull for many many years and I have recently experienced some strange symptoms that I can only faintly remember from when I was a child in the 80's.
It involves a strange tingling all over my body and a light headedness which leads to an overwhelming sense of anticipation and a feeling of euphoria that seems to increase everytime that I see Mr. Pearson.
The sense of numbness and constant dull ache that I've had for a long time have gone.
The only thing I can put it down to is COMPLETE AND UTTER OPTIMISM !!
THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY DON'T THE DOBBINS PLAY IN GREEN SHIRT, GREEN SHORTS AND GREEN SOCKS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS THEIR INFINITE ENVY OF EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE??

Don't know how everyone else is feeling but with everything going on at the club it's a great feeling too actually have a positive outlook on how things are going for the club instead of the doom and gloom we had with the previous bunch...

Someone has clearly rattled his cage and the gloves are defintely off, but I love this....keep re-reading it. Better than the spin of the previous regime which we were continually fed. They must have thought we were all stupid. How good is it to have hope!
Not all of us!! After a statement like that how can Rule be left in his position?? surely he must go or fall on his sword??
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist.
