Perhaps you could point us in the direction of the Warrington Wolves related financial entity that is racking up profits.
Only 2 clubs in super league posted an operating profit last season.
One was Leeds..... Any idea who the other one was?
I will give you a clue..... It was warrington.
You can cry about salary caps and backhand payments all you like..... The bottom line is we have just signed an Australian test player in his prime and you are trying to make yourself feel better by saying it's against the rules..... It obviously isn't.... So do yourself a favour and quit moaning.
he was always going to sign for us,he was training with us and his brother happens to play for us who as it happens he lives with too...
why are people suprised???
as for the salary cap debate, last season we released penny (who was on a fair wedge from cullens era),V anderson,mathers,hicks...and brought in hodgson and J monaghan, thats 4 out and 2 in????
good luck next season,i fully expect us both to be challenging at the top of the table.

No it wasn't.
I fear you are about to have your sorry arse handed to you on a plate. You may have a choice though, after Mrs B has ripped you a new one

Utter garbage. Hull FC made a profit last year as we have done for the last 5 years. Castleford also made a profit. As did Widnes, actually.

I'm not crying about anything. We have a self-sustaining business model at FC. I'm sure Melbourne Storm fans were equally as indignant about suggestions of salary cap impropriety there before too long ago, look how that turned out. It's fair to speculate about it given you've binned off Hicks at the end of his career and suddenly have the room for Monaghan. Do you think Hicks will be out of pocket?

just to rub armchairs face in dog poo, pardon the pun, could you tell us how much wire actually lost?.
You made a marginal profit last year, entirely off the back of winning the CC. You have huge ongoing debt, as does you holding company. On the other hand, we've made a decent profit for each of the last 5 years off the back of winning nowt and without a wealthy backer. I know which company is being better managed.

Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
Not for the last financal year it is not.I would of thought that profit wont take affect until sometime in 2011 in which time they may of made a loss again.
