Personally think Sts are creaking and aren’t the force they was…signings are a bit lowkey and Wellens isn’t a good coach imo…they beat us in the cup then puts Knowles at hooker for the league match and Smith totally out coaches him.The fact that Holbrook turned down wire speaks volumes as I think he will be back at Sts.

They'll still be top 3 but they have an aging squad. Be interesting to see if Wellens can manage this transition.
Yeah I think Saints will still be around the top but unless some other teams get hit with a bad run of injuries then they'll go another year without winning anything again.

Looks like all the trophies will be going to the Wigan borough once again, That includes Leigh as well of course.

Saints will be fine, they still have a great squad and the best academy, they lose players they bring some more through, we need to get to that stage and I don't think we are far off in terms of production line.
Really looking forward to toady and seeing the new guys, not expecting huge things as it will most first game.
Good article with Pearson, club looking in a decent position, looking to get a couple more people on the board to boost financed, hopefully get one or two on board in the next year or two, don't think it would take alot of investment to get us competing again.

The quality of youngsters is the big issue tho
We have to go back as far as Richard Horne to have the same quality as welsby
In terms of numbers playing the game we should be higher than saints
But the standard of player isn't great last 10 years through our youth
