He's on the small side and no better than what we've got.

If Rapana and Seizer are good enough to start and play well in the NRL, I'm pretty sure they will be good enough for a team who has won 3 games and been hammered on multiple occasions.

I quite like Walker, but is a bit injury prone.

If we can release Sao, sign a couple of forwards and a quota centre I'll feel alot more confident about next year.

Jordan Rapana is a quite signifcant upgrade on Walker and im personally surpsied more people dont think this.

Rapanas stats this year in the NRL are really good. And that league is a cut above SL.

We could sign a team of NRL superstars and some would still find fault.

Maybe there isn't a centre available of high quality, would we be better with Naden or Rapana.

I agree that both will bring quality to a terrible team but we could have used the precious quota places more wisely.

Keeping Walker would have given us more options. He's injury prone but we cover at fullback.

I'm unsure about Sao. On his day he's very good but this season in particular he's been a liability more often than not. We need a couple of forwards if he were to leave but replacing him with the same quality fed player will be difficult. A better quality quota prop may be the only option. If he stays maybe Cartwright will hopefully sort out his discipline. Long shot I know.

Off the field we are getting things right with the coaching and back room team hopefully this will translate to on field performances.

I agree there's no doubting that but Walker is a good player and we could have signed a centre. We were linked with Lafai and Leutele was an option. It's all about balancing the squad to accommodate better quality quota players. I'm not sure we've done that signing Rapana.

Spot on Dave. Rapana is pure quality and a winner. Him and Asiata are massive signings.
On Cust, John Cartwright wanted him so that's good enough for me.
He was quality at Wigan before his injury and he's had some good games for Salford this season.
He also comes with a first class attitude and is a true professional.
